Water Well Sound Volume Halved (-50%)
Remember when you build a Water Well in the middle of your town and the sound starts bombing horribly your ears with this: BRUUUUM!!! BRUMMM!! BRRRRR!! BRRUMMM!! BRUMMM!!! engine-machinery like sounds, loud as hell! Jesus! I built my wells in a corner of my villages for this horrible volume, it is so loud!, it does not stop tormenting my ears every time I bring the camera closer to the water well. NO MORE you annoying water well!, NOT ANYMORE! *unsheathe the modding sword*
Simple mod that changes the sound area of the water well, (In Kenshi some stationary buildings or other machinery uses an area for trigger sounds in relation with your camera position), The vanilla Kenshi Water Well has the sound area set to 50, now with this mod it’s reduced to 25. The difference feels much better now. Hope this help your ears health, loud noises kill the game immersion and aren’t good in general.
