Oldhammer -not- : Jabberslythe
Here’s a no flight submod for those who hate the flying animation, thanks to Lost2Insanity:

It adds a few bonus to compensate the loss of flight (faster, strider).
Please read, I won’t answer any comment concerning something addressed in this description.
First of all, any CA bashing in the comments will be deleted without warning. Now that this is out if the way:
Consider it a placeholder. I’m confident CA will release one at some point for game 3, so I didn’t go as much in details as, say, Nagash.
I’ve used the varghulf/vargheist skeleton and animations, they’re by far the closest fit anatomically-wise. Those don’t have wings. The flying animation has the vargheist flapping its arms. So the jabberslythe flaps its arms. The grotesque nature of the beast, to me, makes it somewhat work. But it’s still ridiculous-looking. If you can’t stand it, use the submod posted above in the description. The wings do flap too, at least.
It obviously won’t have a snatching tongue. It’s got a missile attack instead.
There’s clipping and stretching as I didn’t want to spend too much time on something that WILL be rendered obsolete by an undoubtedly vastly superior CA version some day, but it’s not too obvious, your jabberslythe won’t look hideous or out of place among your other beasts. Hopefully my jabber will make the wait for the official one more bearable for all you goat-lovers 😉
