This mod aims to add some much needed historical accuracy to an otherwise ahistorical game.

It’s largely vanilla and doesn’t give the player any undue bonuses, aside from the colony spawn event chains.

It also modifies the AI so that the world history plays out correctly! It’s basically an EU4 version of HPM.

Current features include:
-Prevents crazy ahistorical colonisation by the AI

-Early Spanish and Portuguese establishment of new world colonies, including Spanish conquistador invasions of Mexico and Peru

-French, English and Dutch later establishment of new world colonies and asian trade posts

-Portuguese trade empire in Africa and Asia

-Spanish colonisation of the Philippines

-Mughals and Persia spawn reliably now

-Minor european colonies appear (courland, denmark, sweden, russia colonising siberia)

-Tweaked institutions so that developing no longer spawns it for the AI and embracing an institution no longer spreads it throughout the whole country

-MUCH STRONGER France, Spain, Austria, Portugal, Netherlands and England. Something to actually challenge the player now!

-France now PU’s provence and brittany reliably, Austria reliably PUs Burgundy/Bohemia/Hungary if the player isnt involved

-England should no longer unite the isles before 1600, Austria should no longer suicide itself against France and Poland, Habsburg Spain should appear much more often

-Dozens of tweaks to help the AI play out correctly, without interfering with the player experience!

Hope you have fun playing! I pretty much always EUIV with this mod enabled on VERY HARD. Let me know if anything is broken.
