Allows Kings and Emperors whose faith has the Pursuit of Power tenant to designate their heir. Your heir will love you; your other children will resent you.
Details:
– You cannot change a title to this type of elective until your primary title is King or higher.
– Once you are King, you can change any title you own to this type of elective succession.
– Remember to set every dutchy (including primary) and EVERY county inside them that you want to keep personally to this succession law as well or you risk losing it!! – Seriously paradox has made it as hard as possible.
Originally, I wanted to mod the partition laws to protect a king and emperor’s capital duchy, unfortunately as far as I know those laws are hardcoded. I felt that creating heir designation and locking it behind a religion tenant that encourages ambition plus an opinion malus from unselected children to be a decent balancer.
Compatibility:
Should be compatible with anything since I have not changed anything in the religion files, I only added a new elective succession option.
