Sav Cam Cream Redux (WOTC)
Improved performance version for WOTC, I’d looked at the file size of the original and decided it was far too large for what this is. I thaught I’d reduce the size of the images by about half and see if it still looked ok and it does! All the features of the original face paint mod are present at a fraction of the file size.
Your one stop shop for Hunting/military inspired face paint! Like your pretty soldiers to keep their pretty faces unshot? Sure you do!
Simply smother their mug with some Savage Cam Cream and they will seamlessly blend into their environment, making them harder to spot and violently impregnate with Chryssalid eggs.*
All major biomes supported, get some today, stocks are running out!**
* Provides no actual in game protection. Your pretty face can still get shot.
** Stocks digital and thus effectively unlimited.
– New in this version, reduced size of assets for improved performance, minimal loss of visual fidelity.
– 10 Woodland facepaints in 2 sets and 3 varieties, Lower face, Full face and Mask.
– 10 Taiga facepaints in 2 sets and 3 varieties, Lower face, Full face and Mask.
– 10 Arid facepaints in 2 sets and 3 varieties, Lower face, Full face and Mask.
– 12 Simple facepaints in 4 sets and 3 varieties, Lower face, Full face and Mask.
– 5 Burned Cork facepaints in 2 sets and 3 varieties, Lower face, Full face and Mask.
– A “none” option.
Tested concurrently with a large mod count with no problems, should be fine with anything.
Do not use this in conjunction with the old mod.
I consider this mod to be complete.
– If performance is no object for you the higher resolution original mod still works fine.
– This mod is not compatible with vanilla, the vanilla version is still available.
– This mod includes a NONE option for de-selection purposes, if you wish to remove it to avoid doubling up on these, you can comment out the first entry after [XcomGame.X2BodyPartTemplateManager] in this mod’s XcomContent.ini with a ; and the option should not appear.
– Supports English, French and Spanish for now, if you can translate, please do and I will update the mod with other languages.
Thanks to UseYourIlusions on youtube for his Patterns, Face Paint and Tattoos tutorial and to Katoffel’s steam guide on adding icons next to your customisation items.
Extra thanks to Plasman for the French and Spanish translations, advice and the burned cork suggestion.
