Non-Dynastic Succession
Non-Dynastic Succession is a mod that lets you continue on playing as people that aren’t of your dynasty when you die, preventing a game over by switching you to your primary heir when it happens.
I know what you’re thinking: "Why make a mod like this when the game already lets you change character when you lose?"
The answer to this is, simply, laziness. I wanted to make it as smooth as when you normally die, and not having to select a character all over again. That, and also that in ironman this feature is removed. Sure, you won’t get any achievements if you have this enabled, but if you, like me, play ironman on to prevent myself from cheating, this is a good mod for you.
