Regiments of Renown – Compilation (updated for S&F)
This is the compilation of our Regiments of Renown series.
Full units list:
VAMPIRE COUNTS
- Helmut’s Own – Grave Guard (Great Weapons) – Poison attacks, Guardian; (Recruitable from castle Drakenhof and Vlad’s special building).
- Dhrox, the Krundenwald Fiend – Vargwulf – Stalk, Vanguard, Discourage effect on melee attacks;
- Doom Riders – Black Knights – Perfect Vigour, Unbreakable (Immune to crumbling) – recruitable from awakened battlefield.
- Fire Skulls – Skeleton Spearmen – fire attacks, fire resistance, flame protection aura.
- Wights of the Temple of Skulls – very powerful Grave Guard – Magic attack, Curse of Nitotris (unique ability), good melee stats (recruitable from Lahmia or Golden Tower of Gods);
- Shadows of Chill – Cairn Ghosts – Frostbite, Chilling Aura, lesser unit size with better stats (recruitable from level 3 port);
- Company of the Damned – Undead Kislevite Halberdiers – Armour Piercing, Charge defense vs all (recruitable from Kislev settlement)
- Knockers – Zombies – Vanguard, Stalk, good AP and building damage due to using pickaxes and hammers (Recruitable from level 3 Iron, Marble, Diamond or Obsidian mines)
- The Death’s Heads Halberdiers (Shields) – cause fear, immune to psychology, good at holding the line (Ostermark get fast access for them)
- Half-Dead’s Thugs – Undead Clanrats – Vanguard, Anti-infantry, aquatic (recruitable from Tier 2 Port)
BEASTMEN
- The Frederheim Inmates – Ungor Herd with anti-infantry and frenzy. Based off psychos from Frederheim Madhouse who turned into Beastmen under the Dark Moon influence.
- Ungrol’s Raiders – Ungor Raiders with poison arrows and increased ammo pool. Based off Ungrol Four-Horn character, who was rejected by Beastmen and gathered other outcasts to fight under his banner.
- Shadowgors – Gors with poison and stalk. Based off Gors living in the darkest, spider-infested forests of the Old World.
- The Ymgir – very tough Bestigors with regeneration and smaller unit count. Based off hardy Beastmen living in Norsca mountains.
- Redmaw’s Pack – Poisonous (I LOVE POISON) Warhounds with armour-piercing, anti-large and smaller unit count. Based off Khazrak’s pet Warhound.
- Nashara’s Brood – Harpies with armour-sundering and magical attacks. Based off the elf origin myth for harpies.
- The Gibberkin – tanky Chaos Spawns with a special aura that reduces enemy damage around them. Based off powerful Spawns mentioned in a small dialogue from 7E book.
- Gulmoth’s Bone-Eaters – Armoured Minotaurs (Great Weapons) with terror aura and smaller unit count. Based off Gulmoth’s Warband from Beasts of Chaos.
- Toxote’s Hellmounts – Centigors (Great Weapons) that can cause fear and have two unique abilities: Wine of Wraith, which gives them massive charge bonus and Pharmakon, which allows them to resist physical damage during combat. Based off Toxote’s mercenary warband from Citadel magazine.
WARRIORS OF CHAOS
- The Skullrippers (Chaos Marauders) – Anti-Infantry, Frenzy, Immune to Psychology
- The Everwardens (Chaos Warriors – Great Weapons) – Unbreakable, Magic Attacks, full high AP damage
- Sons of the Last Plague (Chosen – Halberds) – Regen, Poison attacks, Swarm of Flies
- The Reavers of Nightfaith (Chosen) – powerful stats, cause fear, Cull the Weak (unique ability)
- Sortsvinaer (Maradeur Horsemasters) – Shielded, fast Anti-infantry cavalry
- Crimson Rampage (Chaos Knights) – powerful offensive stats, rampage, Bloody Slaughter! (unique ability)
- Raak’s Monstrous Kin (Chaos Trolls) – high HP and WS, regen, poison, lower unit size.
- Crushskull Foestomper (Chaos Giant) – Perfect Vigour, Frenzy
- Skulex the Great (Chaos Dragon) – Ancient Dragon Fire (very powerful unique breath ability)
WOOD ELVES
- Dryads of the Willowgroves (Dryads) – Frenzy, Poison attacks
- Cult of the Blood Queen (Wardancers) – Cause Fear, Immune to Psychology, Worshippers of Khaine (unique ability)
- Elrod’s Glade Guardians (Glade Guard) – Good in melee, Strong Vigour
- Shadow Band of the Oblast (Deepwood Scouts) – Anti-large, Trueflight Arrows (unique ability)
- Ashenhawks (Waywatchers) – powerful offensive stats, Scarloc’s Disciples (unique ability)
- Spears of Orion (Wild Riders) – powerful stats, For the King of the Woods (unique ability)
- Daughters of Winter (Sisters of Thorn) – Chilling aura, Hypothermia (unique ability)
- Durthu’s Wargrove – increased unit size, encourage, Titans of Ages Past (unique ability)
DARK ELVES
- Soulskulls (Bleakswords) – armoured, armour-sundering, lower WS
- Voiceless Ones (Dreadspears) – increased unit size, good stats
- Ossian Guard (Har Ganeth Executioners) – Maim (unique ability)
- Rimeshards (Darkshards) – Frostbite, magic attacks, increased range
- Ravenspears (Dark Riders – Shields) – powerful stats
- Crows of Khaine (Harpies) – cause Terror
- Knights of Burning Dark (Cold One Knights) – powerful stats
- The Dreadblades (Black Ark Corsairs – increased armor, aquatic, Butchers of Tor Canabrae (unique ability)

Thanks to script magic the units are recruited from the RoR panel and compatible with anything. Some of them (like Thugs or Rodrik’s Knights) are recrutied from special buildings. Feel free to report any issues or provide suggestions/feedback.
