Empire Cult of Sigmar (New Faction) – Updated
The Empire is under attack, Ostermark is all but lost, the Skaven of Clan Kreepus run unchecked through Imperial lands, the Orcs of the bonerattlaz tribe have descended from the mountains and the undead of the Von Carsteins plunder at will, against this backdrop the "Cult of Sigmar" has been dispatched by Karl Franz to support the Elector Count Wolfram Hurtwig

New Faction for Empire "the Cult of Sigmar" featuring new units, new mechanics, new building chain and a new start position for Volkmar the Grim
Moves Volkmar to Ostermark and takes the Cult of Sigmar with him
Bertha Bestraufrung, Grand Matriarch of the Sisters of Sigmar, New skills and Legendary items
- Order of the Cleansing Flame – Defensive Hammer and Shield Unit
- Order of the Silver Hammer – Offensive 2 Handed Hammers
- Shielded Sisters of Sigmar – Hammer and Shield – recruitable from the landmark building in Mordheim and the new Temple building
- Sisters of Sigmar – Offensive Dual Hammers – recruitable from the landmark building in Mordheim and the new Temple building
- Temple Guard – Shield and Halberd defensive infantry
- Sigmarite Initiates – Hammer and Shield basic infantry
- Order of the Holy Knights of Sigmar – Halberd and Shield Shock Cav
- Apprentice Witch Hunters – fast moving horse skirmishers
- Judgement of Volkmar – Artillery with Cluster bomb ammo
The Order and Sister units gain powerful passive abilities which activate when losing in melee combat, the unit needs to remain in melee combat for the abilities to recharge. The abilities and criteria for each unit are listed on the unit card (screenshots in the slide reel above)
Flagellants gain an ability "Bless this ravaged body" this ability prevents models from dying until the units HP drops below 50%

- Order of the Silver Hammer – Follows the Swordsmen Red line and classed as Infantry/state troops for Tech
- Sisters of Sigmar – Follows the Swordsmen Red line and classed as Infantry/state troops for Tech
- Temple Guard – Follows the Halberdiers Red line and classed as Infantry/state troops for Tech
- Sigmarite Initiates – Follows the Swordsmen Red line and classed as Infantry/state troops for Tech
- Order of the Holy Knights of Sigmar – Follows the Reiksguard/Demigryph Red line and classed as Empire Knights for Tech
- Apprentice Witch Hunters – Follows the Pistoliers Red line and classed as missile cav for Tech
- Judgement of Volkmar – Follows the Artillery Red line and classed as Artillery for Tech
New mechanic: Faith in Sigmar allows the player to build up the levels of piety within a region, a new quick button added to the campaign wheel will show the current levels of faith within the region by overlaying coloured beams onto the campaign map, to increase this the new Sigmar temple building chain needs to be constructed in major settlements and linked to each other

The new building chain increases the faith level of the region whilst also granting recruitment access to the new Order units and providing powerful buffs to the region
by increasing the levels of faith, the region wide commandments increase in power once major settlements are linked, shown by the pips on the side of the commandment bar
- I created a shield wall fromation for the Dwarfs awhile ago, I intend to make that work for all shielded Empire troops
- Currently the new order units are available to all imperial factions, will be making them unique in the next update
- A crusade mechanic to reflect the Cult calling all forces of the empire together – completed, find the mod here
This should be compatible with most other mods, you will need Mixus Faction Unlocker to play as the "Cult of Sigmar" I have removed the dependancy requried for LL1 (although I still highly recommend you use it as well)

A sub-mod is needed to play as Cult of Sigmar, currently one doesn’t exist

This has been quite the undertaking and whilst i’ve tried to test everything i expect things to slip through the gaps, please report them here
Additionally, this is now a complete new faction as opposed to piggybacking on another faction within the unlocker as most do, if you notice anything at all that’s odd please flag it as I’ve had to create or add support for everything
