+Chapter Approved+White Scars [BETA]
Greetings Commander, welcome to White Scars Chapter Approved. This mod introduces new gameplay as the venerable White Scars chapter of Space Marines. It is my attempt to build a unique experience for Gladius players.

**COMPATIBILITY**
This mod is compatible with Brother Severus’ amazing White Scars mod. If you want to kit your army in the full glory of White Scar color and heraldry please download Brother Sevarus’ mod and place it above “+Chapter Approved+White Scars Textures” in the Mod queue.

The Fifth Legion are masters of lightning fast assault that leave their enemies no time to prepare or retaliate.
ECONOMY
The White Scars are swift and deadly, often outpacing supply lines, preferring to rely on mobility over fortifications.
- Starting Units: two Scout Biker
- Resource Extraction Post: a lightly armored facility that replaces the Fortress of Redemption. Can only be deployed on an Orbital Targeting Beacon. No cool-down.
- Orbital Targeting Emitter: a special feature deployed by a Scout Biker that allow the placement of a Resource Extraction Post. 15 turn cool-down.
SPECIAL ACTIONS
Lightning Assault – White Scar close combat infantry units obtain an extra movement when close to an enemy.
Wind-Swift – a Chapter Doctrine that gives a bonus move to all tanks.
SPECIAL TRAITS
- Devastating Charge – A chapter trait that gives bonus damage to Lightning Assault if the Assault Doctrine is active.
- Eternal Hunt – gives armor penetration to Lightning Assault.
- Born in The Saddle – Turbo boost does not consume action.
- Storm Charge – Turbo Boost gives Infiltrate and bonus damage.
UNITS
Khan – a Captain with two new abilities.
— Hunter’s Instinct – surrounding units gain bonus vs tanks and monstrous creatures.
— Snare – Immobilizes an enemy.
Master of the Hunt – a Captain on a bike.
— Kingslayer – bonus damage against enemy heroes.
— Trophy Taker – additional action upon enemy kill.
Stormseer – a Librarian of the Horde.
— Blasting Gale – summon a storm on a tile that impairs movement and sights.
— Eye of the Storm – flat damage vs flyers and skimmers.
— Storm-Wreathed – surrounding units gain Infiltration.
— Ride the Wind – unit gains movement and ignores zone of control.
Sternguard Veterans – a unit of veteran space marines equipped with special issue boltguns.
Vanguard Veterans – a unit of veteran space marines equipped with jump pack and power swords.
UNIT CHANGES
- Scout Bikes no longer have Infiltrate or Hammer of Wrath. +1HP per model. Born In the Saddle trait.
- Assault Marines, Vanguard Veterans, Assault Terminators, Terminators, Khan, Stormseer can obtain Lighting Assault.
- Fortress of Redemption and Macro Cannon removed.
- Siege Masters removed.
- Vanguard Veterans, Sternguard Veterans, Assault Terminators, Terminators now cost influence to purchase.
