Gallaecia
Gallaecia is a mod centering around the Kingdom of Galicia, a releasable nation by Castile on the start date of EU4 vanilla, and at this moment it’s not made for playing with other nations.
In this alternate timeline, the king of Castile, Juan II, dies in the final battle of the war against the Infantes of Aragón in 1445, leaving the Crown in the hands of his incompetent son, Enrique IV. This prompts the kingdoms of Galicia, León and Asturias to rebel, triggering the disolution of the Crown of Castile.
This mod includes the Guerra of the Irmandiños disaster, one of the greatest peasant revolts in Europe, which occured in Galicia in 1467, and you’ll be able to choose whether or not you decide to side with the crown and protect the feudal order or surrender to the rebels and go on to free the oppressed folk of Europe.
It also includes 4 formable nations, a new system of vassalage, the Branches of the Brotherhood, several flavor events and decisions, 22 new missions for Galicia and the Irmandiñan nation, aswell as a reform of the Iberian cultures and dynamic custom province names for Galician, Portugalician and Asturleonese.
At the moment, the mod is only in English, but at some point I’ll probably translate it to Spanish, aswell as adding a bit more of content, maybe even a starting date that allows to play through the Castilian succesion War, which proved to be a decisive moment in Galician history. It is not Ironman compatible, but I’ve played with the Graphic Map mod with no problem at all.
