Hi! This small mod is an attempt to fix some things I found not to my taste since I first played AoM in the… days of yore. Now that I repurchased it here I went for the opportunity to share my retextures with you, dear reader. What and why have I changed, might you ask:
Athena. I saw her boobplate as unfit for a respectable goddess of war. So instead she now sports a set of ancient scale armour.
Circe. The bare mid-riff did not strike me as mediterranian at all. I changed it into a dress. Since it took away some of her sexiness and she is indeed a mage-seductress archetype, I did not mind giving her some clevage in return.
Gaia. This is the main reason I even bothered with modding AOM. The original model was SO underwhelming to me. That did not look neither ancient nor magificent. And why is she nothing like her major god art? Did they have another appearance ready for her and then came this CreepyManagerGuy and said: "I want her to be giant pink naked lady. And when I say giant, I mean her assets!" And the artist was like: "That is a weird flex to her fertility aspect, but what about our PG-rating?" and the CMG said: "Well then give her a green bra and some pseudo loincloth made of leaves, geez, do I have to do your job for you?"
Aaaaanyway. I did what I could without changing the model. Her complexion is olive now, her hair is golden with ripe wheat adorned with tiara of leaves and some grapes behind her ears just like in the god art. She wears a rather short tunic with underbust belt and opening on one side. It still falls on the "skimpy" side of the spectrum but hey, still a primordial goddess of fertility.
Norse female villager. This is the most tiny change but I have a thing for viking apron dress so I could not resist adding it. Recolored it to brown – now both M and F norse villagers sport same colour palette which seems like a plus. You can barely see the brooches and beads but they are there.
Currently considered additons: valkyries. Because boobplate is fetish suit, not armour.
