The Corsair Class Mod

"Another mariner, another misfortune."

The Corsair is an all new class mod for Darkest Dungeon. An infamous pirate warlord, the Corsair has arrived to expand her criminal empire and claim whatever riches may lie here. She is a nimble and powerful damage dealer, with a variety of exotic weapons and tactics at her disposal allowing her to inflict devastating damage and bleeds. She compensates this by being rather frail, having a relatively low HP pool. She has fully original assets, including sprites, animations, and sounds.

"The notorious Corsair is a terrifying combatant, dancing between enemy blades untouched and lashing out from the shadows. She dashes across the battlefield like a ghost, setting herself up to inflict devastating damage with her arsenal, disrupting and weakening her opponents to her deadly blows!"

A Thousand Cuts

The Corsair slashes her enemy with her dao blade.

Standard melee attack. High damage. Forward 1.

Getaway

XOOO
The Corsair dashes backwards, setting herself up to hide in the shadows.

Back 1. Buffs self dodge and damage while stealthed. On her next dodged attack, the Corsair will stealth herself for 2 rounds. Cooldown: 2 rounds.

Rope Dart

The Corsair strikes with a hidden weapon up her sleeve, piercing and entangling her enemy.

Medium damage. Forward 2. Pull 2. Bleed.

Face Me!

The Corsair challenges an enemy to single combat.

Zero damage. Forward 1. Self mark. Debuffs enemy damage vs not marked. Guaranteed debuff for +damage received from A Thousand Cuts and +bleed received from Disembowel.

Disembowel

The Corsair performs a brutal retreating slash, gutting her enemy in the process.

Medium damage, high crit. Back 2. Strong bleed.

Oil Urn

OOOX OOOO
The Corsair throws an urn, drenching her enemy in oil.

Tiny damage. Knockback 1. Debuffs an enemy’s speed and dodge, as well as a guaranteed debuff for extra damage received from Firecracker. Cooldown: 1 round.

Firecracker

OOOX XOOO
The Corsair hurls an explosive firecracker to disorient her enemies.

Medium damage. Shuffles target. Debuffs enemy accuracy.

No Quarter

Time Cost: 4
The Corsair inspires the party with a ferocious speech.

Buff party for 8% crit, and another 4% crit vs Marked.

On Your Feet!

Time Cost: 1
The Corsair disciplines her ally, berating them into fighting harder.

Buff ally for +15 accuracy, but 75% chance to stress for 15.

Sail By The Stars

Time Cost: 3
The Corsair employs her nautical skills to navigate the dungeon safely, even in the dark.

+15% scout chance, and another +15% if torch is below 50.

Tall Tale

Time Cost: 4
The Corsair boasts of her exploits, inspiring her allies and herself.

Self buff for +3 speed. Other allies have a 66% chance to heal 10 stress.

• She uses the House of the Yellow Hand.
• Her default name is Ching.
• On crit, she buffs her dodge.
• This mod comes with 9 class specific trinkets for the Corsair, including Crimson Court, COM, and Sunward Isles.
• She has a town event so you can get one immediately.
• She has three alternate palettes.
