[WOTC] Resistance Operations: Use Character Pool
Commander, we’re receiving reports of soldiers going rogue and taking it to ADVENT on their own. Perhaps my war stories inspired them… We should see if we can assist.

The Resistance Operations introduced in the Tactical Legacy Pack are a wonderful addition to the game, offering a rogue-like experience in the XCOM universe. However, the mode did not leverage XCOM2’s pride and joy – the character pool.
All soldiers participating in a resistance operation will be pulled directly from your character pool. Their appearance, outfit, naming, and other customizations will all be imported.
Furthermore, each of your characters will align with their desginated class when placed in the resistance operation.
- Custom Resistance Operations by Favid
- Fully compatible and will add a great number options available to the user.
- Unrestricted Customization by Toxic Frog
- If you’ve used a custom character in your campaigns, you know switching armors will auto-update armor appearances. Unrestricted Customization has a default feature that will halt this randomization. Luckily, it also applies to resistance operations to keep your imported characters consistent!
If a resistance operation rolls a particular class, but your character pool does not contain a soldier aligned to that class, a soldier from your character pool will be chosen at random to fulfill that class role.
Please let me know if you encounter any bugs or discrepancies. I hope you enjoy!
