Great Library of Hoeth – Thematic Forge for High Elfs

— The mod can be updated and maintained by anyone willing to do as long as it asks for permission —
For the time being, I do not have the neccesary free time to focus on modding due too many family & business obligations. Anyone can take the time updating them ONLY AFTER ASKING FOR USAGE PERMISSION as there are a labour of love for the game and the community, a lot of time was spent and they represent a specific view for playing the game. Thanks for the support & stay positive!
The mod adds:
– The forge option for all High Elfs factions called Great Library of Hoeth
– You can craft SPELLS, WEAPONS, ARMOUR, ELVEN RUNES ( banners), MAGIC SCROLLS & FOLLOWERS
– A unique special resource called Arcane Knowledge used for crafting
– 6 new resources – the Arcane Books used for crafting spells and Stardust used for crafting elven runes .
– 7 new elite units available from different existing landmarks through out Ultuan. The units are a part of my loremasters overhaul too Guardians of Order

– You will have to gain Arcane Knowledge via battles, capturing settlements, building the stardust Distillery and via the a new skill for Teclis and the Loremasters. Arcane knowledge then is spent for creating powerful magical items, spells, scrolls, banners and followers.
-Each crafting category has its own requirements. Artifacts need regular resources, scrolls need immense amounts of arcane knowledge, spells need special books, followers need more coin and runes need the stardust resource.
-All items except artifacts have a specific duration, representing the volatility of the winds of magic and their limted power. This means that you will have to choose wisely when you will craft something, as after a few turns, they will disappear. However, they will always be available to craft 🙂
– Scrolls are only usable from loremasters – for balance and loreful reasons. 🙂
– Elven runes are craftable banners and thus only can be assigned via a lord to units.
– The new units are elite warriors and only recruitable if a specific landmark has been built.

-This forge overhaul is not compatible with other forge overhauls for HE
– Playing as Avelorn, Eataine and Yvresse or any othe faction starting in Ultuan will allow you to locate via the forge panel all the unique books and the stardust. Playing as Nagarythe, Order of Loremasters or Caledor, for some strange reason you will not be able to locate the uniques by clicking the panel’s icons. Not a bug but an ui issue with unknown explanation yet. However, everything works fine and the resources are where they should be.

-Do not use the mod at the same time with my Teclis overhaul
