Difficulty & AI (1.37)
This mod primarily focused on Difficulty, AI and Balance, as well as adding bits of content that are in line with a base game. The goal is to push Difficulty as much as possible while still keeping the game fun and balanced.
Generally AI Difficulty bonuses are halved, instead Difficulty ramps up over the course of the game. AI logic is overhauled in every possible aspect of the game, to avoid giving the AI any direct bonuses as much as possible.
On Normal difficulty the game will feel similar to vanilla but harder, on Very Hard the game escalates over time and looks like a player game. I’m recommending Very Hard if you are looking for a challenge, or if it’s a Coop game.
Lucky nations option is recommended. Most bonuses are halved to make it less annoying to deal with early on.

Incompatible with most mods. If you are looking for AI mod that would be more compatible, look for Xorme AI and comparability patches for specific mods.
TLDR difference with Xorme AI. This is an AI centric light overhaul mod. More breathing room at the start of the game. Less pronounced direct bonuses.
