Airco de Havilland DH.2
Airco de Havilland DH.2 (1:1 Scale)
The Airco DH.2 was a single-seat pusher biplane fighter aircraft which operated during the First World War. The development of pusher configuration fighters enabled forward firing armament before the development of synchronisation gears such as that fitted to the German Fokker Eindecker monoplane fighter.
I found out an interesting behavior of new Rotor (Light) in pusher configuration: RPM gets lower as the airplane speeds up which is reverse of standard tractor configuration. So this makes pusher types are worse for speed.
– Rotary engine (symbolic) with pusher configuration
– Keyboard and HOTAS throttle options
– Custom built Airplane Gyro
– Fuel remaining time and max range instruments
– Heater, few first person equipments
– Machine gun
1. Engine switch ON
2. Throttle increase and taxi
3. Takeoff against wind if there is wind
Note1: Expect some roll to the right caused by propeller & engine torque.
Note2: You can refuel both main fuel tank and gravity-fed fuel tank (above top wing) by disconnecting fluid hose between them.
