Give back laser tanks
(Anakin voice) This is outrageous! It’s unfair! How can laser tanks be on the council of T3s and be nerfbatted to T2 level?!
The Tyrannosaurus patch super buffed every other T3, minus rift generators. But laser tanks got gutted so ridiculously hard despite being only a little above average.
- Its primary now only deals 2 more damage than T2-standard repeating ranged attacks (Electrocutioner/Hacker), and 2 less than its closest equivalent, the Bombardon.
- Its "special ability" barely deals more damage than a Purifier’s *primary*.
- The smoke still stinks terribly compared to the Hidden’s shadow step, which both teleports them and doesn’t end their turn.
- Compared to the above T2 units it has cosmite cost and Large Target (easier to hit and can’t take cover).
The Vanguard as a whole now needs to wait two entire tech tiers longer to get their first 9-range attack. So much for the ranged-focused race.
DISGUSTANGGG!
This mod basically reverts every nerf to pre-Tyrannosaurus and adds a little to smoke. There is a ‘lite’ version of the mod which keeps the new single-action Overcharge and its range/damage.
Laser Cannon
- damage 13 > 14
Overcharge
- single action > full action
- damage 24 > 30
- range 7 > 9
- armor penetration 2 > 5
- ignores line of sight and cover
Deploy smoke
- single action > leave one
