True Reassembly and Better primal control
INTRO
This is a mod i mostly made for myself, but thought other people may also have an interest in.
When i first started playing the game, i was really looking forward to the assembly and killing my enemies, only to reassemle them and turn them against thier former allies.
But i was a little dissapointed to find the reverse engineer could basically only revive units that were already cyborgs. And only friendly units at that!
The next race i tried was the amazon. I thought, if i cant rip them to shreds with an army of reassembled, ill rip them to shreds with tooth and claw.
Only to find the most reliable method of recruiting animal units was primal control. Which was an expensive tactical operation, that wouldnt work on anything higher than a tier II animal.
TL;DR
While playing the campaign, the dialogue kept talking about the assembly creating armies from the dead, and the amazon harnessing native plants and animals.
But the game didnt really allow any of that in practice, so i attempted to fix that.
WHAT THIS MOD DOES
The reassemble ability of the reverse engineer:
– Now also works on enemy corpses.
– Now also works on biological units.
– Will not work on hero units, mechanical units, or etheral units e.g. psi-fish
– Any revived unit be revived as "assembly" and "cyborg"
Primal control operation from the amazon race:
Not much change here.
-Now works on higher tier animals
-Now works on plant units.

This is the 1st time ive ever so much as opened modding software, so keep that in mind.
The in-game descriptions of these abilities have not been changed, im not that familiar with the software, and changing text is more confusing than i originally expected it to be.
