Вагоны-самосвалы (думпкары) это грузовые вагоны, оборудованные устройством для механизированной разгрузки сыпучих грузов. Они предназначены для перевозки различных руд, вскрышных пород и полезных ископаемых по магистралям и промышленным железнодорожным путям и выгрузки их на отвалах или дробильных установках открытых горных разработок.

Dumpcar is a cargo wagon intended for transportation along mining routes of mining enterprises from quarries and unloading overburden rocks on dumps or crushing plants. Dumpcars have much more capacity than half-wagons and intended especially for heavy cargoes like different types of ore.
