L&YR 4-6-0 ‘Dreadnaught’
Back from TpF1 but with updated everything…
These locomotives, while impressive, were described as ‘poor performers’ by their crews. Lots of coal consumption and poor reliability led ultimately to their scrappage in the 1920s. They were nicknamed ‘Dreadnoughts’ due to their large size after HMS Dreadnought.
Initially bought on by this tweet, I really wanted to make a Dreadnought, mainly because it looked cool and was called a Dreadnought. The stats arent that impressive as this locomotive was a bit of a flop but I enjoyed it.
