This mod brings The Old World into a nightmarish future when Greenskins have mastered black powder. Well, not exactly "mastered", but they’ve got the basics.
This mod adds three units to the Greenskin roster: All get tech and skill upgrades for orc arrer boyz as well as their equivalent infantry class (either Orc Boy or Black Orcs)
The Roster:
Orc Shoota Boyz
Orc Splodin Boyz
Black Orc Snipin’ Boyz
All are recruited on the normal Greenskin military chain, the Shoota Boys are available at tier 3 and the other two at tier 4.
Balance:
The Shoota Boyz (90 to a unit) use a thunderers rifle as a base, so decent AP missile, but their aim is awful. Toe-to-toe with Thunderers or Handgunners, they get wrecked. Giving them high lines of sight helps quite a lot. Their projectile speed and penetration is buffed a fair amount due to their guns being painted red (which makes bullets go fasta).
The Splodin Boyz (48 to a unit) have the equivalent of an empire grenade. Their accuracy is even worse than the Shoota Boyz but it hurts much less since they fire a massive pile of dynamite.
The Black Orc Snipin’ Boyz (32 to a unit) Fire a shorter range equivalent of a Jezzail. They are good in melee as a Black Orc should be.
All three units have a DAKKA ability with three uses that provides a big buff to reload speed and AP damage for 30 seconds. It doesn’t do anything about that ‘accuracy’ though.
