The Empire Endures
If one of the Empire factions gets destroyed (e.g. Nordland) and none of its historical regions (close enough to their starting regions) are under Empire control that Empire province is considered lost and you’ll get a penalty related to the province’s lore specialty, as a way to model the loss of expertise and military heritage they had possessed.
You can remove the penalty: as long as at least one of its regions is under your control, or under control of any other Empire faction, the penalty goes away.

Reikland: -2 Battle Wizards, Empire Knights and Reiksguard recruitment xp
Averland: -10 global growth
Golden Order: penalties when fighting Greenskins
Hochland: -2 Handgunners recruitment xp and -15% reload speed
Middenland: penalties when fighting Beastmen
Nordland: penalties when fighting Norsca
Ostermark: -5 morale when fighting Chaos, -2 Witch Hunters recruitment xp
Talabecland: -5 morale and -2 recruitment rank for Greatswords
Wissenland: -2 recruitment rank, +15% recruitment cost, -5% reload rate for Artillery
Stirland: penalties when fighting Vampire Counts
Penalties when fighting other races, if not explicitly written, are -5 morale, -5 Melee Attack and Defense for all units.
I’d like to invite others to take the premise of this mod and make a version for other races.
This is a script mod, so compatible with everything, and can be added and removed in existing saves.
Should be compatible with MP, but need a confirmation.
