Description:

EpsTweak is a series of small mods that tweak the balance of Civ 6. Rather than put all of them into one hefty package, I’ve split them into small fragments to allow you to make your own custom rulesets.

Late-game Civ 6 is an odd duck. You’d expect that since the Modern Era was the time of World Wars that you’d be able to swell your army in it and go on a battle spree. Instead, you are hit with every single military unit suddenly requiring a scarce resource. You spend most of the Modern era spinning your wheels as you struggle to conjure up the mountains of Coal and Oil you need for a decent army. That is, provided that map generation was kind enough to even give you Oil on land. And if your only source is on water?… Well you have to wait a full era for offshore rigs.

This simply won’t do. The mod changes up 4 Modern Era units to make it easier to have an army in it:

Infantry – Unlocks at Steel instead of Replaceable Parts. Uses no resource.

Artillery – Unlocks at Rifling instead of Steel. Uses Niter instead of Oil.

Battleship – Uses Oil instead of Coal. Ranged Combat strength increased from 70 to 75.

Submarine – Uses no resource.

In addition to this, the mod also moves Offshore Oil Rigs to Refining, such that you unlock both land and water rigs at the same time.
