Of Men and Monsters [Updated For Silence and Fury]
Formerly Tanit’s Forgotten Units

Update April 15, 2022: Life got the better of me and it has been a long year since my last update. I had a new job, a new house, a new baby and so many other changes. Life with 3 kids is gonna be busy, so I don’t know how often I will be able to mod, but here is the stuff I had been working on a year ago, plus costs and attributes of Beastmen units updated for the last DLC.
All of my old Lizardmen units, plus a few new ones, have made their way into this update. That is 40 new units for the Lizardmen, some restricted to specific factions. On top of this there are 10 new Sylvanian units, including the Brood Of Vhaltovia, inspired by a Vampire Wars campaign in an old Citadel Journal issue. There are also 12 new Empire units, including Light Cannons, Griffon Knights, my own take on the Celestial Hurricanum (Though using ChaosRobbie’s model so they will look good together, thanks again Robbie!), and the original Von Zeppel War Wagon. I will be updating the unit list thread when I have time with all of the new units. In addition, Balthazar Gelt has been gifted two new consumables from his 6th Edition rules. A single target bottle of acid (Al Khahest) and a bottle of powerful healing juice (Panacea Universalis)!
I also renamed every unit that had been inspired by an AoS model to comply with the EULA.
How deep can one delve into Warhammer lore and history? The answer, dear Alice, may surprise you…
This mod aims to add units from the Warhammer lore, White Dwarf articles, and old editions that are still lore-friendly and expand the rosters of every faction. This mod is made and balanced for Vanilla Total War, but anyone who wants to make a Steel Faith Overhaul or Radious version is welcome to. Initially I will focus on units that I have not seen in any other unit packs or mods, but there may eventually be some crossover.
Units:
So far 201 units covering Bretonnia, Beastmen, Skaven, Greenskins, Wood Elves, Chaos, Vampire Counts, Dwarfs, Tomb Kings, Lizardmen and Dark Elves. Over the course of the following couple of months this will be updated to the near-300 number I had on my local file before Hunter and the Beast dropped, so stay tuned! The detailed descriptions are in the pinned discussion below.

Teamup! I am not an artist in the 2d sense or 3d sense. I will be attempting to do some custom skins as this mod progresses, but I have no delusions of grandeur. So if any skinners out there are interested in helping out, let me know!
