ValerBOSS’s Bayonet Mod
This mod adds bayonets to all rifle-armed line and elite infantry from the Boshin Campaign (Fall of the Samurai). Also it includes animations fixes for several units that used to have wrong ones resulting in incorrect reload times and mismatches with used rifle type (breech or muzzle-loading).
Version 1.0
- Swapped main weapon (ranged mode) for all line and elite infantry to rifles with bayonets;
- Added adjusted rifles’ models and set as a secondary weapon (melee mode) with appropriate animations;
- Fixed animations and projectile mismatches for Imperial/Shogunate/Republic Infantry, United States Marines and Kihetai.
Version 2.0
- Minie and Snider–Enfield rifles now have their own historically accurate socket-type bayonets;
- Fixed incorrect bayonet placement on Chassepot rifle – now it’s mounted on the right side of the barrel.
Note: Fixed rifles’ models include a blood mask texture so now they can be covered in blood. Ranged mode models remain uncovered. If you want to get the effect in this mode as well you can download my other modification – GBJ Blood Mod Rework.

Also, for those who wondering if it’s compatible with Darthmod, no it is not.
