Craftable Dairy Foods
This mod allows player to craft milk, yogurt, cheese, and butter.
Notes:
- You can make milk as soon as you’ve found the ingredients. However, the recipes for yogurt, cheese, and butter must be learned from a new Good Cooking Magazine. You can find the magazine in magazine shelves, mailboxes, book stores, etc.
- Strainer, powdered milk, and yogurt culture can be found in kitchens, groceries, convenience stores, retaurants, etc.
- Cheese Preparation and Yogurt Preparation must be cooked before you can turn into usable cheese and yogurt.
- A full jar or bottle of milk satisfies 20 hunger. If your jar or bottle of milk has been partially used and has less than 20 hunger, it will not be enough to craft the butter/cheese/yogurt recipe by itself, so make another jar (or bottle).
- You can also use crafted milk in place of regular milk (i.e. to craft mildew cure, cake batter, bowl of cereal).
- You can now use yogurt as a spice in fruit or vegetable salads.
- Base game butter and yogurt items have been revised to more realistic nutrition values for 1 stick of butter and 6 oz. yogurt cup.

- Make Jar of Milk: Empty Jar + Powdered Milk + Water (10 units)
- Make Bottle of Milk: Empty Water/Pop Bottle + Powdered Milk + Water (10 units)
- Make Butter: Jar of Milk (20 hunger) + Jar Lid + Strainer
- Make Butter: Bottle of Milk (20 hunger) + Strainer
- Prepare Cheese: Saucepan + Jar/Bottle of Milk (20 hunger) + Vinegar (4) + Salt (2)
- Make Cheese: Cooked Cheese Preparation + Strainer
- Prepare Yogurt: Saucepan + Jar/Bottle of Milk (20 hunger) + Yogurt Culture
- Make Yogurt: Cooked Yogurt Preparation + Strainer + Empty Jar
