FotS Defense Rebalance
Ever researched Improved Defenses? Ever saw Gatling Gun Towers? No, you didn’t.
Well you can now.
This Mod makes the defense tree faster to research, and the buildings cheaper and take less turns to construct.
Exact changes:
* Improved Defenses (Matchlock Tower):
– Research reduced to 3/4 (required points now 600 instead of 800)
– Building Cost reduction effect reduced from -20% to -10%
– MLT Cost reduced from 4000 to 1500
– MLT Turns to Build reduced from 4 to 2
* Gatling Gun Towers:
– Research reduced by 30% (required points now 700 instead of 1000)
– GGT Cost reduced from 8000 to 3000
– GGT Turns to Build reduced from 6 to 3
* Militarized Society (Cannon Towers):
– Research reduced (required points now 1400 instead of 1800)
– CT Cost reduced from 14000 to 5000
– CT Turns to Build reduced from 8 to 4
Note that these changes do not show up in the Encyclopedia.
Should be compatible with all major mods (can’t guarantee the changes are applied, depending on the order the game loads them), also to existing save games.
