Description

WA-1 "Petrel" is a two-engine amphibian boatplane, which means it’s capable of landing in water as well as on land.
Petrel marvel of engineering diesel engines allow it to fly at max speed of 210 knots (108 m/s) with a range up to 520 km.
It’s designed to be medium transport plane to reach hard to get areas without proper infrastructure.

Quick start list
  1. Turn on Battery and Hydraulics on overhead panel
  2. Turn on Navigation power on overhead panel
  3. Turn on Avionics on center bottom panel
  4. Turn on fuel pumps and valves
  5. Turn on Cluches and Generators
  6. Turn on both Engine controllers

Q: How to start from water?
A: Flaps to max and pedal to the metal.

Q: How to tilt propellers to start
A: It’s automatic

Q: Where is button to retract side floats?
A: On forward center panel to the right.
