RB-55H "Reporter"

The RB-55H Reporter is reconnaissance variant of the B-55D Crusader meant for high altitude observation deep in enemy territory. Seen here is the 69th Reconnaissance Squadron based at O’Neill AFB, carrying a L.A.A.R.C (Low Altitude Aerial Reconnaissance Craft) which is an unmanned terrain following drone capable of sending high quality images and video back to the mothership.

Startup: (Flight Engineers Panel)
1. Close All Breakers
2. Pressurize hydraulics and fuel system
3. Individual engine fuel pumps
4. Start Engines – Hold until engine starts
5. Use prop pitch on arrow keys to prevent overheating
Drone Control
1. Arm LAARC
2. Turn on Engine and launch
3. Set Drone pattern mode on keypad
4. Set drone to recovery mode (use seat controls to fine tune the cradle if it misses)
5. Turn off engine and disarm drone
Notes:
-Autopilot on the flight deck is only for altitude, go down to the navigator station to set GPS waypoints
