Winslow Type 45 "Statesman"
Type 45 "Statesman"
The Type 45 was originally built as a heavy limousine for high ranking government officials in 1939. However, with the onset of WWII and wartime rationing the Type 45 didn’t see the light of day until 1946. The large 3 axle chassis found new life as an ultra luxurious limo for the super rich. Seen here in this example with coach work by H.J. Mulliner Park Ward, and a 16 cylinder supercharged aircraft engine.
