Messerschmitt Me 264
The Messerschmitt Me 264 was a long-range strategic bomber developed during World War II for the German Luftwaffe as its main strategic bomber. The design was later selected as Messerschmitt’s competitor in the Reichsluftfahrtministerium’s (the German Air Ministry) Amerikabomber programme, for a strategic bomber capable of attacking New York City from bases in France or the Azores.
Three prototypes were built but production was abandoned to allow Messerschmitt to concentrate on fighter production and the Junkers Ju 390 was selected in its place. Development continued as a maritime reconnaissance aircraft instead.
Featuring working gear, fire suppresion system, altitude hold, bombardier seat, bombbay with bombing segments (two bombs per button press), radio seat, secret engine fire panel to the right of the cockpit (press the hotkey to open it), opening engine cowlings, a galley and bunks.
Start procedure:
-You can get in from a door to the front left of the aircraft (hidden button below the handle) or from a hatch at the bottom rear of the aircraft
-Turn on your batterie (overhead)
-Turn on your Krafstoffpumpen (fuel pumps)
-Start your Motoren (engines)
-turn of your Bremse on your right (parking brake)
-Give some prop pitch and throttle and taxi out the hangar
-Turn on your generators (overhead)
-unfold your wings
-Take off!
The fire detection system only detects the fires when the engines have exploded, because engine fires only give off heat when they have exploded, apparently. Open the cowlings to repair your engines after a fire!
You will find your refueling and recharging anchors in the wheel wells
