Ancient Empires – Arc Shot [Submod]
Another non-Official Submod for Ancient Empires,
This mod give almost every Elite and Trained archer;
"an ability" or so called, to FORCE arc their shot in 45 degree angle.
They will always arc their shot regardless their sight is blocked or not.
Arc Shot is basically a duplicate of their own Default Shot.
So it does not alter/change their own original shot, and allow player to switch between 2 shot style whichever needed.
Currently only basic shot are available.
Special type of ammunition such as Flaming, Heavy and Poison is not yet added as is not really a common use to me.
about Arc Shot:
> It has 15% lower range than their default projectile.
> Slightly lower accuracy than direct straight shot = Which i think make sense considering the arrow have more air time and affected by the wind longer and other factor.
> Slightly wider spread, same reason.
> Slightly higher calibration area, same reason
> Has Minimum Range of: 40, just for logic, because it look weird to arc a high shot at very close distance. (might be changed, possibly raised)
The AI will also use it when they have their sight "Obstructed",
but apparently they will not change it back to normal shot unless the target is inside the "minimum" range (which they can’t shot with arc shot)
-or-
happen to find target that suitable to shot with "Flaming Arrow",
Then they’ll switch back to default shot after they’re finish with flaming arrow.

This mod supposed to work best with my Wooden Screen mod, as it reduce/prevent your own unit to shot at your own screen when deployed behind it, while also allow you to shot unit taking cover behind screen.

Crossbow is excluded because i never happen to see crossbow bolt curve as much as Bow Arrow.
Let me know if you want me to re-create this for other overhaul/mod.
