Telescopic gangway
Телескопи́ческий трап (иначе телетра́п, также разговорное «рукав») — устройство для сообщения самолёта со зданием аэровокзала без промежуточного выхода пассажиров на улицу.
Представляет собой телескопически раздвигающийся и состоящий из нескольких модулей коридор, способный двигаться относительно самолёта: по горизонтали по земле с помощью колёс либо подвешенным и по вертикали электро- или гидроподъёмниками, так как положение входных дверей у разных типов самолётов различно. Может быть 1-рукавный (чаще всего), 2- рукавный для крупных самолетов (погрузка пассажиров осуществляется одновременно через 2 двери), и наконец, 3-рукавные (реже всего, только для аэробусов A380), в последнем случае 3-й рукав подаётся к двери на верхней палубе.
A telescopic ladder (otherwise a telescopic ladder, also colloquially a "sleeve") is a device for connecting an aircraft with the terminal building without an intermediate exit of passengers to the street.
It is a telescopically sliding corridor consisting of several modules, capable of moving relative to the aircraft: horizontally along the ground using wheels or suspended and vertically by electric or hydraulic lifters, since the position of the entrance doors is different for different types of aircraft. It can be 1-arm (most often), 2-arm for large aircraft (passengers are loaded simultaneously through 2 doors), and finally, 3-arm (less often, only for Airbus A380), in the latter case, the 3rd arm is fed to the door on the upper deck.
