A Modular Experience

More Interactive Vassals currently adds over 35 unique features, each of which can be enabled or disabled in the game rules at your own preference!

Reworked External Wars

Vassals can now be called to join their liege’s wars based on several factors:
* If they would lose any of their titles from the war
* If their liege is pressing their claim
* If their domain is bordering the enemy realm

Vassals may refuse to join a war and can even block their own vassals from joining, greatly reducing a realm’s military strength.

However, if they do accept the call to arms, then they gain a variable amount of War Exhaustion based on their reasons for joining.

Reworked Civil Wars

At the start of a civil war, every vassal in the realm will now be called to pick a side, creating multiple blocs of loyalist and rebel factions fighting for dominance.

Vassals can declare for their liege and raise their armies in defense of the crown, declare neutrality, or join the rebellion.


However, loyalties can shift during a war. Some vassals may choose to bide their time and wait for the best moment to strike!

Expanded Vassal Interactions

Directly intervene in the wars of your vassals, bribe vassals to betray their liege, ask a vassal for military support in exchange for a hook, scheme with allied vassals to form factions, and more!







Realm Politics

While a rebellion is ongoing, vassals can be persuaded to choose or switch sides by using gold, prestige, hooks, prisoners, and alliances, which adds a new layer of internal politics to the game!

Oathbreakers

Vassals now have the option to betray their liege during a war, though at the risk of severe punishment once the fighting is over.



Crown Loyalist Faction

Honorable vassals can now actively support their liege’s interests and safeguard them against internal threats by creating a Crown Loyalist Faction.


Reworked Alliances

When a liege is allied with their vassal, they can now call each other into their internal and external wars, greatly increasing the value of vassal alliances.

However, allies are now affected by Alliance Fatigue, which increases the strain on the alliance each time they are called to war.

Warfare Customization

There are over 20 new game rules to change the balance of CK3!

Reduce army sizes significantly, increase the time it takes to replenish losses, buff levy damage or toughness, modify vassal contracts, reduce knight effectiveness, and much more!

Bannermen

An alternate system of vassalage. Vassals provide 75% fewer levies, but are now bound by oath to join their liege’s wars. When a ruler calls their banners, refusal is an act of treason.

There are many more features in this mod for you to experience! MIV expands upon many core systems in CK3, adding new strategic depth to areas that were previously unexplored.

Compatibility

This mod is save game compatible, ironman and achievement compatible, and is fully compatible with other mods, including other major overhauls and total conversion mods.

MIV is confirmed to be compatible with A Game of Thrones, Realms in Exile, The Fallen Eagle, Elder Kings 2, Shogunate, Princes of Darkness, After the End, Guardians of Azeroth, and more!

Game rules can now be changed even after a game begins. Open the game rules menu in the settings to enable or disable features of your choosing in existing saves!
