Hertz Province Patrols Submod Framework

Mod Version: v1.0

This is the packfile used to create submods for my Province Patrols mod. all scripts are commented and how-to’s / tutorials can be found in the submod documentation found on google docs here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Vc7ZKLQJ_wcLWa6GvEXcmSU5e_Md4rdSfo1L2RTRz_U/edit?usp=sharing

The current framework supports:
Editing existing patrol unit lists
Adding custom modded subcultures for province patrols
Adding custom modded factions for province patrols
Overhaul for all vanilla subcultures
Adding new mechanics to subcultures province patrols
Custom patrols per faction/custom modded faction

Used when you’re making edits for 1 or more existing vanilla province patrols
Used when you’re making province patrols for new factions/subcultures.
Remove the submod_pp_empty_unit_lists.lua script when the above applies to your use of the framework and rename the submod_province_patrols.lua to anything unique that you prefer.

Used when you’re making a province patrols mod for complete overhauls that add new units to most/all vanilla factions of the game.
This script still holds all custom functionality and rulesets for specific factions, but their patrol unit lists have been emptied.

I made this script for internal testing and balancing. This script includes a copy of all vanilla patrol army setups and a function that generates a patrol for the current player faction and any enemy faction and setting each patrol’s strength. This is all done with the function: patrol_vs()

This text file is used to list all the vanilla province patrols unit lists and patrol force setup for all factions.
