Farmland Expansion
Crusader Kings III is a brilliant and interesting, immersive and exciting game with a great historical background.
But…
Europe still seems to be stuck in the Dark Ages, if you look at the provinces with farmlands.
Europe has so little farmlands: Even in the Po Valley and Flanders there is hardly any arable farming, although these areas are very fertile and densely populated in the Middle Ages as well as today.
It’s time for Farmland Expansion in Europe.
This mod currently adds farmland as new terrain to over 100 provinces. For example, important cities like Prague, Venice, Brussels, Milan, Antwerp. The list of provinces is below in the discussion, You are welcome to make further suggestions for additional provinces there, because of course I don’t know the geography and history of every country…
Only the graphics and terrain settings of the provinces have been changed, neither have provinces been enlarged, reduced or merged, so hopefully the mod will be relatively easy to update.
I am very happy about productive criticism, suggestions for improvement and positive feedback!
Some notes:
– big mod folder, since entire terrain folder must be included
– not Ironman compatible
– savegame compatible
