Description:
Introduction and use

The R-95A, or "R-95 All-aspect" is an effective rolling airframe active radar guided missile using the EPN guidance law in the 1×1 (+fins) format. It functions as a more advanced cousin to the basic R-95 missile.

To use the R-95A, simply put it onto a hardpoint and use the "Launch" input for the hardpoint. After firing, the missile will seek out a target inside of its 45 degree scan cone.
During tests, the missile was able to hit targets at around 3 kilometers without major difficulties. On top of this, the R-95A is able to hit targets at a side aspect, unlike the basic R-95.

Its dimensions are 15x1x1 (Not counting fins, with fins it reaches 15x3x3 in total)
Able to fit on just about any aircraft, and can be mounted at any angle/orientation
The guidance is based on a 1×1 missile radar with a finely tuned EPN system.

Note that it is only good against moving targets – a stationary target may often be completely missed.

(Aspect is the angle you fire at, so in front aspect the missile is shooting at the front of the target, etc.)

Special thanks to Lassi who helped with the missile guidance development and missile testing.
You may like the basic R-95 missile, which is slightly more reliable but can only handle rear and front aspect.
M3 Varis missile which has longer range but is in the 2×2 form factor and requires a transmitting radar to aim.
