Mainly references :
1. Osprey Campaign 336 – Strasbourg AD 357, The Victory that Saved Gaul
2. Res Gestae (English translation), written by Ammianus Marcellinus
3. Wikipedia and others

4. MK1212, CRoC and FotE teams, who authorized the use of their models
5. Lukeuedasarson, who selflessly shared historical resources and experiences on his Notitia Dignitatum website[lukeuedasarson.com], special thanks for his reasearch on the Patterns of Western Auxiliae Palatinae[lukeuedasarson.com] and the Legion lineages[lukeuedasarson.com], which certainly helpful to make our Roman shield patterns and military flags

Notice :

These pictures are showing the extreme number of units, which is approximately equal to half of the historical quantities (we suppose). You can also set unit numbers to smaller sizes : The medium number is close to the FotE size, and the smallest number is equivalent to the vanilla level
