Bear Island
Bear Island is a small, uninhabited island on the Pacific Rim. It lies somewhere in the Kamchatka/Alaska region. It is heavily forested and only accessible by boat and plane, with no outside power connnections. Your task is to go there, and create a new Soviet Republic! With no train or road connections, this will be a challenging task. You will need to conserve your resources until you have something you can export via ship.
The island is rich in natural resources, including timber, coal, iron, and even oil! It is somewhat hilly, and finding flat land for farming may be a challenge, forcing you to rely on imports for some commodities.

I am hoping that if they add airplanes, this could be even better!
