Description:

The Kiha 141 Diesel Car has been operated by JR Hokkaido since 1990. All cars were converted from Series 50 passenger cars, and feature extensive modifications from the installation of engines to the installation of cabs. After its retirement, most of the trains were sent to Myanmar National Railways, where they are still in use today.
