Zheng Jiang All Women Units

Inspired by a mod authored by Aoife!

Replaces Zheng Jiang’s roster with women units, including her tech tree and her garrisons.
Aside from minor bug fixes (changes below), all her units have the original stats.
50+ custom units are available to her only and do not affect other bandit factions.
Text descriptions have been rewritten to reflect the changes.

After decades of internecine wars, the governance and population of China are in steep decline. Having conscripted much of the adult male population to feed the greed and vanity of rival warlords and nobles, thousands of widows and orphaned daughters were rendered homeless and destitute, regardless of their prior status. With no-one else to turn to, many of them joined bandit groups that had formed in response to the weakening of central authority.

Amongst these bandits, Zheng Jiang had earned a reputation, not only for her hatred of the Han and her ferocity in battle, but for her empathy for the plight of the downtrodden. The Tai Bandit Queen would always choose to attack wealthy Han targets, rather then those whose situation matched her own, and then distribute the spoils among her people. As her fame spread, it seemed only natural that women would flock to her banner.

Many of these women arrived with weapons and armor retrieved from their dead menfolk, others were clad only in threadbare rags. Regardless of their state, all of these women were empowered by a fervour that transcended their attire and would carry them into battle.

Faced with the needs of a growing population, and having limited means to provide for them, Zheng Jiang realized that she would have to seize territory from the Han and create a state that could be free of their influence. Once the decision was made, she organized and trained her flock until she had fashioned an army that could challenge the oppressors!

Does not edit start_pos nor ceos.
Should be compatible with any mods that do not edit bandit factions, especially Zheng Jiang.
Will work for 190, 194 and 200 start dates.
Has not been tested with TROM, TUP or other overhaul mods.
You do not have to be playing as Zheng Jiang, changes should affect AI as well.
Requires new campaign. (not save game compatible)

Starting units are still core, you can swap them out when your budget permits … or not.
Imperial & Northern units will be male (don’t think bandit factions even get them?)

Affect other factions
Raider Cavalry now have correct cap via tech tree for other bandit factions (bugfix)

Affect Zheng Jiang faction only
Bandit Lair and Tribute Hall now visible on start page.
Most units have been renamed.
No crossbow units! (but a few onyx dragons!)
Fists of the Bandit Queen now have stalk and snipe (oversight)
Virtuous Noblemen health stats (rebalance)
Xiongnu units are now shock cavalry (?)
Reclaimers are now spear units with better morale (oversight)
Horseback Huntsmen are now cavalry missile (?)
Jian Swordguard Cavalry & Sabre Cavalry have been combined into one unit. (lazy!)
Qiang Raiders & Marauders have had their names reversed (oversight)
All raider units now have raider trait
Autoresolve values added to new units. (50K+ entries)
