Negative Mobility Fix
So this mod here is something that’s been a long time coming. It’s not just for LWOTC / Mod Jam players, it’s for all WOTC players, but it’s going to be more relevant to you the more mods you have that add things like enemies, abilities, and gear.
– The purpose of this mod is to prevent any character template in the game (be they your soldiers, enemy units, or anything else) from going under 0 Mobility in any circumstances. This isn’t a scenario that’s likely to come up in a completely unmodded WOTC experience, which is probably why Firaxis didn’t account for it. "Why does it matter?" Simple: any unit that goes into negative Mobility will instead effectively have unlimited Mobility. They can run anywhere on the map in a single action. This is horrible, bad, and disgusting, and needs to be purged immediately.
– This is done through an Event Listener put together by RustyDios. Any time a unit begins its turn or is attacked, the listener checks its Mobility stat; if the Mobility would be lower than 0, it sets it to 0.
– The Highlander is a hard requirement to make the Event Listener work. Chances are you already have this unless you play vanilla (just get WOTC already).
– There shouldn’t be any. I made this with maximum compatibility with other mods in mind. RustyDios did all the real work. Let me know if this isn’t the case.
– RustyDios for rewriting the entire mod into something that has the intended function without the horrible crashing. You should consider giving him some simp bucks[www.buymeacoffee.com] if you have some that you’re not giving to VTubers.
