Description:

Known to enthusiasts as Tugs, the Class 60 was the last diesel locomotive to be built by British Rail. They were built to replace the class 56s and 58s, which were seen as unreliable. 100 were built to haul heavy freight, but many were put into storage early in their lives as surplus. The ‘scrap line’ has become something of a feature. In 2010 DB Schenker refurbished several of the class in the Super 60 program. The future of the others is uncertain, although more locos are currently being refurbished.

The model is available from 1990 in a variety of liveries.

Features:
– Reversible
– Dirt and rust
– Custom audio.
– Each loco is also available as a track asset.

Max speed: 96 km/h.
Power: 2313 kw (3100 hp).
Tractive effort: 474 kN.

Many thanks to funclive for the excellent photos of the model and helping me with the research.

Thanks also to funclive and cw_315 for doing the beta testing.
