Description:

The MIDI 700 were the first 0-4-0 locomotives built by the Schneider manufacturer in their plant at Le Creusot in the 1860s. They were used mostly for cargo and mixed trains by the MIDI company. In the 1890s, some MIDI 700 locomotives were reformed, adding a new cabin and a new boiler.
The MIDI 2000 locomotives were a development of the series 700, with a new injector system and a huge steam dome. This model had a great result, and this model was exported to other European countries. At the beginning of the XX century, the MIDI 2000 were reformed, adding a new air brake, straight chimney, and a closed cabin.

In 1938, 13 MIDI 700 locomotives remain in use. They were renamed in the SNCF as series 040B. Also, 22 MIDI 2000 locomotives remain in use. They were renamed in the SNCF as series 040D.

This Modification adds the MIDI series 700 and 2000 to the game.
