Third Odyssey: Extra Sub-mod is a personal project I started some months ago after my last TO: Back to the Motherland run.

Ever since the moment I found the original version (made by Lichtkang) I fell in love with the ludicrous idea of Byzantium escaping to the New World. It offered a new yet familiar experience, where your decisions in the first couple months could shape the entire run of the game.

Not so long ago Scurek & Team released a big update, one that I’ve deeply enjoyed. From that, I decided to create my own sub-mod to give form to the various stories that happened on my head and more.

TO: Extra Sub-mod is, definitely, an attempt to add a new layer of flavor and narrative to this excellent mod. While it still is a work in progress, I hope you can have fun with the content I’ve done.

• New Flight Events: Take new decisions that will shape the first years of Elysia!
• New Great Projects: Theophilan Walls, Silk Halls of Akatos, and the monumental task of building Saint Ioannes’ Monastery… or, perhaps, you shall hear the voice of the old gods at the Oracle of Aithaia.
• Emerging Cities events: Pick a potential spot, develop the province, and see it grow into a Center of Trade. Eventually it might even get a new trade good!
• Other minor changes I cannot recall right now.
• Some of the major features have been integrated into the main mod!

WARNING! The submod’s content is very spread out, so there is literally no way you can see all the content in one run. Pick your own favorite decisions and let’s see how it goes!

• Nothing, to be honest. I’ve been currently busy with life, moving to another country, getting married, and other stuff haha. So far, the development of this mod has been stopped. I do plan to keep modding in the future, specially when EU4’s succesor is released, but until then I’ll be saving my energy and ideas to that moment.
