What is this mod?

This mod was born from the idea of my other 6 mods that will be released periodically this summer, to remaster various aspects of Rome 2 Total War that have not been touched or have been vaguely "modified".

This mod remasters all the graphic aspects of all the campaign maps from their lighting, shadows, effects, textures, water, reefs, cliffs, mountains, trees, animals, vegetation, weather and depth.

In addition to that, this mod contains an OPTIONAL file, (later I will explain why it is optional and not included) that adds better weather, fire, smoke, blood, and atmospheric effects, as well as effects that were discarded and not included. in the final version as insects on the forests and rainbows.
All of the above mentioned is in 8k but it was designed to fit your monitor resolution without any problem, but you need a minimum of 8gb of RAM so you don’t see weird frames while adapting textures.

This mod has already been tested and all the campaigns and their DLC, and it works perfectly in the vast majority of large Mods as long as it is above that mod in its loading order, such as Para Bellum, Medieval or DEI, also the optional file was tested successfully on all these mods, if you get any errors, it must be due to some other compatible mod or similar. Obviously this mod cannot go together with other mods that modify the campaign maps.

All the captures that you see above were made using only this mod, they have not been edited with any program or any type of Reshade has been used.

What changes does this modification have?

    Is it compatible with other mods?

    • IT’S NOT COMPATIBLE WITH DEI, I DON’T WANT TO MAKE IT COMPATIBLE WITH DEI, I WON’T MAKE IT COMPATIBLE WITH DEI.

    Does it affect the performance of my game?

    • I have a 5500xt 8gb card, and have had no issues with performance. If you have a superior card or similar you will be able to play without problems, but I can’t guarantee anything for inferior cards.

    Is it compatible with other languages?

    • In its entirety, the mod does not modify any text, so you can play it in the language you want.

    Does this work, modify any statistics or gameplay?

    • No, all the changes are graphical, so you can be sure that the gameplay will not change, so you can combine it with the gameplay mod of your choice.

    Why do some things only come in an optional file?

    • For some reason that makes me hate the engine of Rome 2 unlike the beautiful engine of Shogun 2, is that many script files, such as effect VFX when modified, stop working if they are added to a normal Workshop mod, so it has to be included in a "Video" type mod that is not read by the Launcher but unfortunately cannot be uploaded to the Workshop. If it were up to me I would include all these things in this single mod, but the Rome 2 Engine was just made without love.

    Can I use your mods in my mod?

    • Of course, it doesn’t bother me at all. I grew up under the idea of ​​learning to share, you can use any file you want without problems, without losing my permission or giving me credit, this is a work for the community, not to become famous. To share is to live.

    What does the name of the mod mean?
