hard difficulty with clever AI
This overhaul mod adjusts the AI’s behavior, and makes AI more clever. Around 200 years, the map will be filled with kingdoms and empires.
major change:
1. balance the vassal contracts for all the government types. (taxes and levies)
2. AI marriage will be more reasonable. eg, the player is unlikely to ally an empire through marriage when you are barely a duchy.
3. buff the AI’s piety/prestige gain
4. decrease the chance of success for scheme
5. AI will stick to primogeniture.
6. AI will be more likely to conquer the land instead of fighting for relic artifact and etc. AI will be more conservative when choosing the opponent

– unlock Casus belli(Forced Vassalization, Invade Kingdom, Conquer Duchy) from the beginning. Conquer Duchy can be used to other vassals under the same liege as well. It will bring more “peer pressure" at the early game

– AI will surrender if enemy has triple military power (happens around 1 year), AI will not surrender to player though.
– AI will be more likely to go for white peace if the long time war didn’t yield any results

-Add an event that removes all the player’s allies when the war is already 2 years. It’s a protection mechanism from overusing allies. Thus, if you cannot finish the war in 2 years, then you may get into trouble.

– AI will recruit more siege weapons

-Optimize the AI behavior to adapt the recent updates.(In Fig 4, Abbasid can achieve massive expansion even before the mongol invasion starts)
Note: some basic modifiers are in the file commonmodifiersHD_modifiers.txt. you can modify the statistics at your own will if you think the game is too hard or too easy.
