Less Event Spam [Crown Update]
Not every little thing needs a massive pop-up that pauses your game. This mod replaces certain fullscreen events with less intrusive toast notifications.
- Child of my Dynasty: Prompt to name child of relative; annoying once your dynasty grows larger.
- A Scheme at Court: Spymaster notifies player of ongoing scheme against character at court. Annoying with many courtiers.
- Schemer Discovered: Your spymaster has discovered the schemer, but you can’t take action. If you can imprison the schemer (i.e. they’re your courtier/vassal), you still get the event.
- Conditions for Release Accepted Letter; You know beforehand whether a prisoner will accept your conditions; in fact, you can’t release them if they won’t. So why a pop-up saying they did? Annoying when mass releasing from dungeon.
- Marriage Accepted Letter: Annoying when marrying off many courtiers at once.
- A Snake at Court: Attempted seduction of courtier & ongoing affair between courtier and someone else. This one uses the game’s system of randomly generating insults, so there may be some strange adjective/noun combinations.
Less Event Spam: Affairs & Bastards is a standalone addon that deals with the most common infidelity and bastardry events.
This mod overwrites the following files in their entirety and will be incompatible with mods editing those same files:

birth_events.txt
For ease of maintenance, this is a merger of the mods "Less Intrusive Child of my Dynasty Notification", "Less Intrusive Spymaster", "No Letter Upon Marriage Acceptance" and "No Pop-Up When Releasing Prisoners". These are still up, but no longer maintained. Subscribing to this mod and any of the above at the same time will 100% break things.
