Introduction

For short: This is pure ‘Flavorization’ Mod on Prefix Titles focusing Feudal Imperial, Royal Family and their Title-Styled Councillors, with also addition in detail of Lesser Noble Princelings, Variation of Ruler’s Widow Mother, Different names of Court Chaplain in Custom-created Christian Faith and Military Title for Marshal depending on their Ruler’s Rank.
Also, thank you all for your interest in my mod. This actually is my first mod ever and it’s purely about flavorizing the game btw, some error may occur so here’s my apology-in-advanced, for if any occur, I’ll be looking into it for sure.

Added Flavors
  • Imperial & Royal Councillor Titles: Tired of Councillors with important duty for your Realm and still no any styled title expect your so-called Court Chaplain? Me too! In this mod I make those Councillors in the Empire and Kingdom tiers prefixed with their council position. Now Councillors will be known by their Imperial or Royal responsibility by using their council position as prefixes. Currently there are titles in 2 languages depending on culture; English if your culture doesn’t have Byzantine Heritage and Greek if your culture do (I got it translated not so professionally by Google Translate and comparison in Wiktionary, tho. So, any Greek here, if you spot any mistranslation, please feel free to notice me!) So now Councillors will be called as:

    Kingdom Tier/Royal Councillors
Chancellor: Grandchancellor (EN) or Megálokankelários (GR)
Steward: Lord Steward/Lady Stewardess (EN) or Archontasoikonómos/Kyríoikonómos (GR)
Marshal: Grandmarshal (EN) or Megálostratárchis (GR)
Spymaster: Grandchamberlain (EN) or Megálothalamigós (GR)

    Empire Tier/Imperial Councillors
Chancellor: Archchancellor (EN) or Archikankelários (GR)
Steward: Imperial Marquis-Steward/Imperial Marquise-Stewardess (EN) or Árchontas Oikonómos/Kyría Astynómo (GR)
Marshal: Archmarshal (EN) or Archistratárchis (GR)
Spymaster: Imperial Emissary (EN) or Megálothalamigós (GR)

  • Prince & Princess the ‘Heir’: Now both so-called Heir Presumptive and Heir Apparent (appointed by Designate in Absolute Crown Authority) under the Primogeniture and Ultimogeniture Succession Law will be styled differently! They’ll be elevated from ordinary prince(ss) to Prince Paramount or Princess Royal of their Kingdom, and Prince Imperial or Princess Imperial of their Empire while anothers remain their imperial or royal by-birth styles.
  • Royal Grandchildren Distinguished: Important persons (by their birthright ,at least) like Imperial and Royal Grandchildren will now be finally be ‘Noted’ differently by their Styles, but there’s still remain categorization among them. Whenever their Dynastic Parent is landed, they’ll be styled differently after their imperial or royal status. They’ll be called ‘Prince’ and ‘Princess’ of their Landed Majestic Parent, but only if they still remain the part of their Grandparent’s Superior dynasty. Otherwise their title prefixes will be styled after their dynastic parent, given that they’re no longer part of their Grandparent’s Imperial or Royal Dynasty regardless of their status as their grandchildren (the titles of those princelings will be addressed in the next topic).

    For example:

      Prince the Grandchild

    • Prince Cesaire of France were given the landed-title Duke of Burgundy and subsequently he got married regularly with another noblewoman of the other Lesser Dynasty. If their children would ever be born in the future, they will be styled Prince/Princess of Burgundy, given that their royal parent were ruler of the Duchy of Burgundy.
    • Third-born Princess Leonore of Germania Empire became ruler of ‘unimportant’ County of Paderborn and eventually got her opportunity to expand her Dynasty further by arranging matrilineal marriage. From this time, if her children would be born, they’ll be called Prince/Princess of Paderborn as they still remain the part of their Imperial Dynasty.

      King’s Noble Grandchildren

    • Finally the first grandchild of the King of Scotland is born and it’s a girl! She was born after the marriage between Princess Meredith of Scotland and the Duke of Albany (partly as a useful diplomatic tool, as usual as how the Medieval should be). She was born in her father’s Ducal Dynasty since the Marriage is Patrilineal, also as usual. So, she might be a the King’s Granddaughter but instead she will be styled as Viscountess of Albany as she is no longer a part of her Royal Matrilineal Dynasty anymore.
    • After centuries of Venetian Prosperity under the aristocratic rule, the peasant rebellion ultimately won the war, putting the end to the Serene Republic, and the Rebel Leader became first Feudal King of Venice accordingly. The new Royal Family, however, wasn’t popular among the nobilities both inside and surrounding the Kingdom since its opinion as former peasant family. The king needed some reliable alliance to secure their power and as a result has to marry his son, now Prince Umfreto, off to the powerful neighbouring Countess of Friuli under the condition of matrilineal marriage. From now on, if there’d be any issue born from their wedlock, they’d be called Sir/Dame of Friuli relying on their Dynastic profile, notwithstanding any of their Royal Grandparent’s rank.
    • As a fourth-born son, Prince Vitomir of Bulgaria were regularly married to the firstborn daughter of Sovereign Duke of Moesia to form political alliance. They both, however, weren’t in any possible close order to inherit any title from their parents. As a union of both unlanded nobility, their children would none be styled to any specific title. Should they be styled specifically, any of their parent would have to hold any landed title and their style would belong patrilineally to their Father as they’re part of his dynasty. But until then, their children will be born without any noble style but the recognition as Ruler’s Close Family only.

  • Princelings Styled: Nobility mostly, if not always, born in high place. Even baron’s children is still incomparable to those unlanded commoners and lowborn peasants, yet they have no style to be referred as. So this flavor was made to individualize those noble children from another with their style! From now, they’ll be called:
    • Viscount and Viscountess if their dynastic parent rules or used to rule the duchy when they were alive
    • Sir and Dame if born in the dynasty of some count or countess
    • and Miss and Mister to the lowest-ranked possible (but not playable, at least without mod tho) nobility, the baron

*(More details about the mod can’t be added due to Steam Workshop’s text limitation, so I’ll rework these into .png later for more details)
