BHEV MIX
In January 1963, the Budapest Local Interest Railway (BHÉV) launched the first two motor cars of its own designed and manufactured motor train types, wich were equipped with German electronics. These two motor cars and the trailer, wich was put on the market a month later, were made at BHÉV’s Budafok Plant. The MIX model was equipped with electronics bought from the LEW company in the GDR, the series cars were made in MÁV’s Dunakeszi Vehicle Repair Shop. A total of 27 units (2 motor cars and 1 intermediate trailer) were completed.
